Our Parish Priests

Fr. Aubrey Fernandes s.j. joined the Gujarat province of the Society of Jesus in 1975 and was ordained in 1986. His first assignment was at the tribal mission station at Sagpara, Narmada district, Gujarat, where he set up a school for the tribal children. After this he was appointed to the candidate's house in Ahmedabad as Director of the pre-Noviciate. After a 5 year stint he was posted to Surat where he set up an institute for teachning English to the tribal students. In 2004 he was appointed as the Assistant Parish priest of our parish. He took over as the Parish Priest in June 2005.






Fr. Jerry Fernandes s.j. joined the Gujarat province of the Society of Jesus in 1963 and was ordained in 1976. His first assignment was as the Parish Priest of Vadtal, Kheda district, Gujarat. After an year he was appointed as the Assistant Parish priest of St. Mary's Church, Nadiad, Gujarat. In 1980 he was appointed to the St. Xavier's College as the Secretary to the Gujarat Voluntary Health Association. In 1989 he was also made the co-ordinator of the province Social and Developmental programmes. In 1991 he was Superior of the Jesuits scholastic studying in college. In 1995 he was made the povince co-ordinator for formation. In 1999 he was appointed as the Rector of Jeevan Darshan (infirmiry for the old Jesuits). In 2004 he was appointed as the Assistant Parish priest of our parish.
